LAAM Fashion Week is set to return to Lahore from October 23 to 26, bringing together designers, fashion labels and audiences for another celebration of Pakistan’s evolving fashion industry.
The upcoming edition follows a successful debut that featured collections from 37 designers, showcasing a diverse mix of established names and creative voices from across the country.
The first edition also generated international interest, with organisers reporting customers from more than 100 countries.
What sets LAAM Fashion Week apart is its direct connection between the runway and retail. Collections are made available to customers through LAAM’s digital platform immediately after being presented during the live streamed shows.
The model allows Pakistani designers to move beyond a traditional fashion week audience and place their collections directly in front of international customers.
It also gives viewers the opportunity to discover and purchase pieces without waiting for a separate retail launch.
The inaugural edition brought together some of Pakistan’s most recognisable fashion names, including Ali Xeeshan, Élan, HSY, Hussain Rehar, Khaadi, Mahgul, Nomi Ansari, Rizwan Beyg, Sania Maskatiya and Zainab Chottani.
The event was live streamed across more than 120 countries, giving Pakistani designers an international stage and allowing audiences worldwide to experience the country’s fashion landscape.
LAAM Fashion Week’s digital first approach is creating a new link between fashion, technology and commerce.
By allowing customers to shop collections almost immediately after their runway appearances, the platform turns fashion week into a direct business opportunity for designers.
The first edition’s international reach demonstrated the potential of this model, while features such as immediate bookings and free shipping for couture orders made Pakistani fashion more accessible to customers abroad.
